I was seriously hankering for some sewing time when I got home from my business trip. But did I work on any of my in-progress quilts? The kaleidoscope quilt perhaps? Or the vintage sheet quilt? Or wait, what about that hourglass quilt I started a year ago? Heck no! I started something completely new. But I am justifying it because I'm cleaning out the ol' scrap bin in the process. I was inspired by a recent scrap attack tutorial from Sew Lux Fabrics.
However, the biggest WIP in our house is NOT in the sewing room. This project is 3 years in the making, and here's a sneak peek:

ReplyDeleteBahaha!! That is the funniest delivery I've ever seen! Can you imagine, working away at the back of your house, then rushing to get things together to go to an appointment, opening the door to leave and: WHOA! Can't go anywhere yet! lol :D Must be something exciting!
