Not a lot of sewing this week... just a few more blocks for the scrappy string quilt, and I cut out some lavendar & green fabric for a custom baby blanket.

But don't for a second think I've been lazy! Remember all those
boxes on our front porch last week?? Well, I spent almost the entire weekend in the master closet working on that project. I'd say it's about 70% complete, so for now, just a few teasers pics (tools & design plans).

Wow that closet looks like a project and a half. It is understandable why you haven't got much sewing done. At least you made some progress. I love how your string blocks are coming out.
ReplyDeleteThe string blocks are looking very pretty. I also like the lavendar & green fabric you are cutting up.
ReplyDeleteAdding the closet stuff looks like a lot of work, but I'm sure it will be worth it.
That is one gorgeous scrappy string!
ReplyDeleteThe strings are lovely. I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteMegan - these string blocks are so lovely! The bright colors are right up my alley ... a quilter after my own heart! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking them up to the Scrap Attack Strings QAL!
Happy Sewing! :-)
