I found this great pattern while browsing at JoAnn's, and immediately knew just the right person who would appreciate a new apron! I used fabrics from Patty Young's Mezzanine collection and the bright colors remind me of eating watermelon in the summer.
This apron was a gift to my friend Jes, who is an avid baker (and has been since college, when I thought she was crazy for spending $300 on a mixer. Seriously?!? That was almost a month's rent back then!) Now I know better - a girl's gotta have a KitchenAid mixer!!
