My little double hourglass quilt is finished! Not a bad little quilt for using up my leftover scraps from the Wonky 9-patch.
I did big 12" blocks and even used up the leftovers from the leftovers on the back in a little pinwheel pattern:It's free motion quilted with loops and I used a pink polka-dot print from my stash for the binding.

You're first in my google reader this morning ! Sweet little quilt. I did a big one like this about a year ago. Love this line and am currently using my scraps in a scrappy trip around the world ; )
ReplyDeleteHappy stitching today
Those are my favorite colors! And your quilting is beautiful too. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteDarling quilt! I love this pattern and its been awhile since I made one. Maybe another one is in the cards for the new year.
ReplyDeleteReally, really cute! Love how you pieced the back as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of lefovers. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteCute quilt! I really like your choice of binding. It compliments the Bliss fabrics, yet stands on its own, and adds a fun pizzaz! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love both the fabric choice and the double hourglass blocks. It would be so nice as a huge quilt, too! Some baby will be lucky to use this.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love the fabric too!
ReplyDeleteThat turned out beautiful. I have some Bliss but haven't found the project for it yet.
ReplyDeleteTotally beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI think the idea of using up our excess blocks and scraps in making another quilt is one we don't often do, preferring instead to launch ourselves into the colors and patterns of a new design. But if we could all be as successful as your sweet little quilt indicates, it should be a mandatory move!
ReplyDeleteI think these colors are perfect for a wee little one--bravo!
