Don't get me wrong, I think the end product turned out great. And I LOVE that it will be a sentimental keepsake for the recipient.
But have you ever worked with invisible thread? Seriously, I had moments where I had to simply walk away for several hours to prevent myself from throwing something (thread? machine? quilt?) out the window. OK, that's an exaggeration, but not by much. I do however, love that the quilt is entirely quilted with a large meandering pattern, rather than just outlining each shirt. Much better drape and stability in my opinion.

I feel your pain when it comes to t-shirt quilts, although I've never quilted one with invisible thread. That sounds terrible! I just find that after I get all the interfacing on and the blocks pieced, I'm already exhausted! Looks great!
