Snow Day - Oh Boy!

We were supposed to get snow last Friday in Houston, but all we got was ice (much to my hubby's disappointment). Never-the-less, this Southern city is completely handicapped during winter weather, so we got a snow day! And snow day = productive day in the sewing studio!!

First completed project was a baby shower gift for my friend, who's having a little boy. They haven't decided how they're decorating the nursery (in fact, we gave her a hard time for the lack of items on her registry) so I picked some cheerful jungle-theme fabrics.

The second quilt I finished up this weekend is for a new little Michigander (I just love that word) who will hopefully use it to keep warm this winter!
