Sunkissed Patchwork Quilt

An appropriate picture for this Sunkissed quilt, don't ya think?  The word sunkissed sounds so lovely, too bad I was already dripping in sweat before 8am taking this picture.  Ahhh Houston summers :)
So although I might not have looked pretty taking these pictures, I think the quilt turned out just beautiful!  It's a disappearing nine patch pattern with sashing in Kona solid (snow I think?)

Back is also from the Sunkissed line, and finished with hand-sewn binding.
Now I'm wishing I had bought more of this fabric last year, so I could make a big quilt to keep :)
Well, I'm glad I didn't bet myself last week.  I actually finished up not one, but two (!) of my quilt tops before starting something new.  I'll share the other one (hourglass vintage quilt) soon.

  4. I love it! The backing fabric is just as lovely as the front, and I like how you used the sashing to break up your blocks.
