Admitting addiction

I am becoming increasingly aware of my addictions, and will now post some of them here for all to see... first step to recovery is admission, right? :)

1) Starbucks - I don't drink coffee straight and don't need caffeine to function, but for some reason I have gotten hooked on iced mochas.  I am starting to really live up to the yuppy stereotype.

2) Garage sales - oh the thrill of the hunt and satisfaction of saving a dollar!  Some days are a complete bust, some days you find all kinds of treasures (but is it weird that I went through the Starbucks drive-through last Saturday while out garage saleing?!)

3) Open houses - I have an accomplice on this habit, and history shows this one is dangerous for the ol' bank account (we're living in an impulse buy)

4) Chapstick - finally an addiction that doesn't threaten my waistline, pocketbook, or house clutter.

OK, now off to plan a weekend of Saturday garage sales and Sunday open houses, all while applying lots of Chapstick and drinking iced mochas :)

  1. I have to say I love the no whip Mocha. Such a treat. Happy garage sales to you : )

  2. I need coffee to function. I've known about, and enjoyed, that particular addiction for about 3 decades now. Have you ever tried McDonalds coffies? They have lattes iced or hot and you might save a buck. I'll be having one myself in about an hour:)
