Friday Night Sew-In: The Results

It's been several months since I first participated in the Friday Night Sew-In sponsored by Heidi and Bobbi... Technically, this time was a Friday afternoon sew-in for me. A friend of mine had her second baby a couple of months ago, and asked me to make a diaper clutch for her:

And a matching rag quilt for her little girl. She chose fabrics from the Meadowsweet collection, which I love! And the back is a charcoal gray minky - very hip and modern! I finished cutting and sewing all the individual blocks...... with this little helper at my feet...

...and just arranged the quilt layout...

... when the doorbell rang, and friends arrived. TGIF!
